so far no specific plan has been laid yet. as for the entire group at least. and i know each of you guys have plans and schemes of your own. that's good. too good, actually, that i can't wait to hear them.
so we could finally mix 'em up unto a saucepan...

but but but... reality's chewing on my nerves , "is there even a group to begin with?"

yes &no

so far 4-5 people (from the old staff) have shown interest that's tavog, lucita, vhaiku, vanny and well, me...
and we've got a hell of a lot to go..
but too early to tell, i know..

if the plan is to form an exclusive ex-g's group,it's about time we send invitations to the other guys..
we'll send each of them an invitation to join..

but even if we got everyone to join, i'll bet , eagerness, involvement and interests will vary. Nonetheless, everybody is still welcome. however each of them may view this. Some will see this as a hobby or a job or a pasttime or a project or even a side project or just for kicks.

but their degree of membership should depend on their degree of involvement to the group.

those who plan to give this project 70%-100% of hteir time, effort, energy and expenses, of course, will be the 1st degree members..40%-69% of involvement, will be shared ny the 2nd degree members

20%-39% , are 3rd degree members, while those who plan to give less of their time, will be welcomed as contributors..

15 1st degree members are enough.. as a minimum target.. but the house shall be open for the entire family..

the 1st degree people will be the group in charge . they will form the body, if we were to become a pub team, the edboard, and we were to become a company, the partners who'll run the team. decisions and all.

once the 15-member(or more) body is formed, the tango begins..

we'll be creating a new name, mission, vision and policies etc....

and then the gameplan will be specified..

the 2002 plan is to create "PUB", mainstream campus paper supposed to be penned by campus journalists and then distributed to campuses around cavite...\at that time, although the spirits are willing, our resources are weak.

and they say we were'nt ready then. our grammars were flawed. and some other shit.
and very few are really interested.
so that "dream" was stored in the freezer..

but everytime i got to talk to je, jorn, or some others, the plan stuck in every conversation...
and began evolving..

if people are doubting the g-talent will "sell" to the cavite colleges, how about a high school version ?

or a highschool chalk? to be distributed in cavite?

or a masa type of chalk?

or a "campus digest", a reader's digest type of mag with articles condensed from campus papers in the country?

or a local version of readers digest? condensing local works from our finest writers?

it could either be one or more of the above and the result will still be an original idea.
plus our own g-brand of writing..

we reiterate that we’re not..

the idea is to re-group the old spirit, if such a thing still exists, and bottle it up in a new container. The more ingredients we get, the better. The more diverse ideas we gather, the more flavor we’ll savor.

\\\\what the hell are we up to?
Uhm, well, the thoughts may vary.
But after a couple of brainstormings, as suggested by lucita Fernando, we can then easily define it.
Tabog’s idea is one thing. Aimee’s idea is another. And I’m sure lucita has his own rumblings..
As well as the gee-others out there. All we need is a melting pot to bring all these ideas to boil and get the hell to where fine young minds should be.

so what do we really have ? I’ll give an honest reply. “Nothing much”. What we’ll have next, that’s for us to create.. out of the “nothing much”.
Maybe we’ll end up soon with either ‘much more’ or ‘nothing at all’. It depends on how much we want things to happen.

right now, we have a few interested, a few more hesitant, and a bunch more too busy with their own careers. And we’re not sure where’s the place the other g-pipers land. So we’ll have to find out through..

internet. right now we have this little breathing room called the friendster. It’s fine if you ask me. Maybe we could get the most out of this if we log on more often. Alright..

and then the mobile phone. So if it’s possible to exchange numbers.. that would be cool too, right?

It’s a cute thought, but too early to decide on. Tell me I’m wrong. For the meantime, if I may suggest, let this be our little office ok? And our agenda for this whole week is to define who we are and what you people wants us to be. What do you want this little stubborn group to accomplish.
\\commitment
commitments will vary I’m sure. This will depend on a billion factors. Some may include time, interest, eagerness and whatever excuse we may find under our bedsheets. To some, this might end up as a hobby, or a job, or a project, or a side project, or something like “I’ll-wait-some-more-and-find-out-where-this-may-get-and-then-I’ll-join” kind of thought. Well that all will be fine.. as long as you stand up and say it.
As for me, I will think of this as a project for now. But my this will be my main project, I can assure you. Fair enough? Let me know what you guys think.
